Privacy Policy for Alli Connect

Last Updated: August 25, 2026

Introduction

Welcome to Alli Connect. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, protect, and share your information when you use our services. By using Alli Connect, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Data Privacy

Your data are private. We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information. We do not sell, lease, or rent your data to third parties.

Data Safety

Your data are safe with us. We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

Data Sharing

We do not share your data with any outside third parties, except as necessary to facilitate your use of our services. This includes sharing minimal information with therapists to enable them to decide on accepting you as a client and to contact you, and with peer support personnel to enable them to deliver peer support to you.

No Sharing of User-Identifiable Data

We do not share any user-identifiable data with family members, insurance, or any other entities, except in the case of utilization of the Alli Connect service for state certification requirements. In such cases, information disclosed shall be limited to whether the requirement was completed or not completed. Other personal or private information will not be disclosed. Your confidentiality and privacy are our highest priorities.

Aggregate Reports

We may share aggregate reports with your organization. These reports describe your department as a group. We only produce one when at least four people have responded. They are used solely for the purpose of providing general insights and do not compromise individual privacy.

How long we keep your information

We keep most of the information described in this policy for as long as we operate Alli Connect. We do not delete it on a schedule and we do not put an expiry date on it. Where that is true, this section says so plainly rather than naming a period we do not keep to.

Information we keep for as long as we operate the service

Information that is deleted or replaced sooner

Information your department sends us about you

If your department's dispatch or records system sends us incident records, and a record carries an email address that matches the email address or work email address on your account, we link that record to your account. That is how we know to offer you a post-incident check-in.

What happens when you delete your account

When you delete your account, we clear the direct identifiers on your account record: your phone number, work email address, city, and the approximate location you gave us. We replace your name and email address with placeholder values. We remove your peer support and administrator permissions, and we delete your login.

Your name and email address also stop appearing in the reports your department can export. Depending on the report, you are either left out of it altogether or shown as "Deleted User" with no email address.

Some information remains:

Information held by companies that help us run the service

We use other companies to deliver parts of Alli Connect: a login provider, a text-message provider, an email provider, a monitoring and logging provider, an analytics provider, and a cloud hosting provider. Each of them holds some of your information on our behalf, and each keeps it under its own retention settings. We review each company's information security practices under our HIPAA program before we start using them and for as long as we do.

Information on your own device

The app keeps your login session on your phone so that you do not have to sign in every time you open it.

The app also stores a note of when you last dismissed our prompt asking for your work email. Your work email itself is not kept on the phone. It is sent to us and stored with your account.

The analytics software built into the app keeps its own record on your device: an identifier for your device, the identifier for your account, the current session, and any activity events that have not yet been sent to our analytics provider. Logging out clears the account identifier and replaces the device identifier.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
